Paul Ciechanowski, MD, MPH

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Paul Ciechanowski is a nationally recognized leader and pioneer of the Collaborative Care Model and now serves as Chief Medical Officer of Janus. Paul is Board Certified in Psychiatry and is a faculty member at the University of Washington. He has conducted foundational NIH and CDC studies and developed national training programs in collaborative care, addressing the needs of individuals with complex medical issues and those with challenging social determinants of health. His extensive clinical research has been published in JAMA and NEJM, among others.

Prior to Janus, Paul founded Samepage, a proprietary clinical workflow management platform for deployment of evidence-based collaborative care, which now serves as the technology backbone for Janus’ service delivery. Since joining Janus, Paul has led additional innovation of Samepage that adheres to the collaborative care model while enhancing the user experience for patients and providers.

Paul earned his M.D. at McGill University Medical School, a Master in Public Health from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of British Columbia.
