Janus and Great Lakes Physician Organization (GLPO) Expand Collaborative Care Program to Pediatric and Adolescent Patient Populations

Boston, MA – March 11, 2026 – Janus Healthcare Partners (“Janus”) today announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Great Lakes Physician Organization (“GLPO”) to extend its Collaborative Care program to pediatric and adolescent patient populations across participating GLPO practices.

This expansion builds on the successful collaboration established in early 2025, through which Janus deployed its turnkey Psychiatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) across approximately 10 practices, with continued growth across GLPO’s network of hundreds of providers throughout Michigan.

Through the expanded program, Janus will deliver integrated behavioral health services to eligible pediatric and adolescent patients, supporting referrals from pediatricians, family medicine physicians, and other primary care providers within GLPO’s participating practices.

Pediatric and family medicine practices are increasingly tasked with addressing rising rates of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral health concerns among children and adolescents—often without adequate access to specialty support. With 50% of mental health conditions beginning by age 14, the need for early, integrated intervention has never been greater.

The Pediatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) provides an evidence-based approach by embedding behavioral health services within primary care, enabling timely intervention, coordinated care, and improved outcomes with minimal disruption to practice workflows.

“GLPO is founded on a philosophy of supporting physicians who deliver patient-centered, holistic care,” said Shay Raleigh, Executive Director of GLPO. “Extending Janus’s Collaborative Care Program to pediatric and adolescent populations addresses a critical and growing need for timely, evidence-based mental health support. This expansion aligns with our mission to improve outcomes while delivering efficient, cost-effective care.”

“We are excited to build on the strong foundation established with GLPO and its member practices,” said Nicholas Tcherepnin, CEO of Janus Healthcare Partners. “As we work to transform healthcare delivery in partnership with local physicians across Michigan, expanding access to integrated behavioral health services for children and adolescents is essential to breaking down longstanding barriers between mental and physical health.”

“Expanding the Collaborative Care Model into pediatric and adolescent settings is something I am deeply passionate about,” said Dayna LaPlatte, MD, Consulting Psychiatrist at Janus. This work meets families and children where they are – in the primary care setting where most children first seek help – and I am thrilled to partner with Janus to bring this model to more communities.”

The expanded program is built on several core differentiators that support successful, scalable implementation statewide.

Evidence-Based Pediatric Collaborative Care:

  • Delivered using the Psychiatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), with a population-health approach supported by data analytics, structured care pathways, and warm hand-oYs between care team members.

  • Measurement-based, evidence-driven interventions delivered by the Janus clinical team members working closely with primary care provider partners.

Experienced Clinical Leadership:

  • Ben Hillyard, LCMHC, Vice President of Clinical Practice Success and Business Development at Janus, leads the pediatric and adolescent program, bringing deep experience in designing and scaling child and adolescent mental health initiatives.

  • Dayna LePlatte, MD, is a board-certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of expertise in psychiatry and an extensive experience in integrated and collaborative care. She has served as a consulting psychiatrist in various settings over the years.

Janus continues to expand access to integrated behavioral health services across Michigan and other states through partnerships with physician organizations, payers, and providers, reinforcing its commitment to improving access, outcomes, and sustainability in healthcare delivery.
